Can anyone recommend a good beach to visit for our day in Cozumel. I haven't been to Cozumel in at least eight years and forgot where we went the last time. It was not too far from the ship and really nice, I would appreciate any good suggestions you might have, we leave in 2 1/2 weeks...thanks

We've tried lots of them (Money Bar, Paradise, Playa Mia, Nachi Cocom, Palancar Beach Club. San Francisco and Mr. Sancho's.

Mr Sancho's is our favorite hands down. Food and service are great. There are watertoys for the kids if you want to pay for them. Best $45.00 (AI price if booked online) deal we've found. They also have a reduced AI price for children and teens. Our adult children and grandchildren also prefer Mr. Sancho's.

If you want peace and quiet and want to do it a la carte then I recommend Palancar Beach Club - a little further south of Mr. Sancho's.

Would help everyone's suggestions if you could tell everyone, what you are looking for in a beach day...

Peace and Quiet with gorgeous views. - Nachi Cocum or Playa Palancar

(Nachi has a 100 person limit each day, which keeps it from ever getting overcrowded like some of the other beaches do. Palancar is the furthest from the piers, so fewer people make the trek that far.)

Kids-Playa Mia (same beach as Paradise, Mr. Sanchos and Nachi, but with water slides, kiddies pools, adult pools)

More active, partying atmosphere- Mr. Sanchos or Paradise Beach..

( both have inflatable watertoys, a pool and a little more lively atmosphere if that is what you are looking for.)

Paradise Beach

All of the beach clubs are in a row, about a 2 minute drive from one to the next...(for example, Nachi Cocum is about 15 minutes from Puerto Maya/International Piers)

We always go to Nachi, since we've been 5 times and have had a perfect day each of our five times. (with #6 in April.)

Good luck with your search.

You really can't go wrong at any beach club.

You can only tailor you day to better suit your group's wants.

To me, having some space on the beach, with fewer people is the most important to me..

Look at the space between groups...

But if you could tell us what your group values most...

Snorkeling, food, AI, toys for kids, music playing, being able to hear the waves lapping the shore, etc...

Just let us know, so the folks who have been to their favorite places can narrow it down for you.

(for instance I can tell you anything about Nachi...Others can breakdown Mr. Sanchos or Paradise for you)

This looks nice. Can you walk from the ship? Or just hop a cab?

Taxi to Paradise Beach, depending slightly upon which pier you are at, will cost about $16-17+tip each way (for up to 4 passengers in a cab); if you have 5 or more in your group the per passenger fare will be posted on a board near the cab line.

Yes, This! Pristine and beautiful! We were told this is the beach they film the Corona commercials on. Either way, it is picture perfect.

I thought Isla Passion was where they did the Corona commercials...
