Waikiki Beach car rentals

Are there any car rental companies in Waikiki Beach or is it necessary to rent from HNL airport? Are reservations necessary? And does anyone know the cancellation policy...do they take your credit card info online?

Hertz has a rental desk at the Marriot. We're doing a 2 day precruise at this hotel through NCL, so it worked out great for us.

National has an office on Ala Moana. They offer courtesy pickup/drop at the pier.

Budget has a office at the Hyatt, this is where I am renting from it is the closes and best price I could get staying at the Sheraton PK.

Hi can you rent a car just for the day or is it usually 24 hours. We are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village two days post cruise and thought we might rent just for the Friday to drive around the island. Is it worth shopping around or are they all about the same?
