Looking for BREEZE reviews:)

yeah, some of my comments are about the cruise industry in general which may unfairly appear as a review about the Breeze.

I will offer one thing I did not comment on as I forgot. I just booked B2B on the Freedom, total for both cruises was the same as the 8 day on the Breeze. It might be just when we booked, how new the Breeze was or things I am not thinking about, but I don't see it as sticker shock, more as opportunity to cruise longer if you are comparing to another class of ship.

Since I didn't give my review a good list of the good things, I can offer things I really like on the Breeze.

- The location, shape and size of the piano bar. I never went during the sing along stuff, it was a perfect stop for a pre-dinner martini. The music and volume was nice and the couches were comfortable.

- Camp Carnival has the coolest rooms, kind of wish I was 12 years old going on that ship.

- Library Bar, very cool. If I did the Breeze again, I would try and get in the Sapphire dining room instead of Blush. They do anytime in Sapphire so it's perfect if you like that, I prefer assigned table/time.

- Casino was nice, I don't gamble but we hung out with some friends we met onboard in the bar area, also very nice. Not nearly as loud as other casinos. I found the casino on the Glory the worst, but I'm referring to the lounge music near the bar. So I'd say the Breeze has the best casino of all ships, Miracle possible the worst because they combined with cigars but I really wish all ships had pool tables like the Miracle.

- shops were nicer than on the Splendor, Liberty and Freedom (the three I sailed this past year besides the Breeze). I don't buy much onboard and it really is all the same stuff, the Breeze just had more of it. So flip-flops that I like are usually out of stock in my size on the other ships, the Breeze had plenty.

- I can't say enough good about the sushi bar. I wish the other ships had it like that.

- next to the sushi bar is a cool pub style bar. Also a very cool thing I wish was on all the ships.

Also, they did something really stupid (to me) on the Breeze, Dream and I would expect the Magic. You have to put your room key into a slot next to the door for the lights to work. So this is more of a note, business cards, hotel room keys or just a couple folded pages from the fun times paper also do the trick. My cabin steward didn't remove what I put in the slot though some people have said that they will. I folded up one of the ads for gift shop watches and stuffed it in the slot.

Lastly, I agree with many, for some odd reason I felt more movement on the Breeze than any other carnival ship. We had an extended balcony, aft facing on deck 8. The math geek in me can only surmise that the fulcrum is different on that ship placing more to center than aft like the others causing the sensation of more movement in parts of the ship that move less on others. just my guess, I'm a software engineer, not a mechanical engineer.

That is on the Breeze & Magic, but not on the Dream. It is stupid. That started with the Magic, and it is a huge nuissance unless people do what you did. Some stewards will take the paper. When the last person left the room, we would either take the paper with us or stick in the desk. Using the S&S card for that just doesn't work for most people.

OP, the link to my Breeze review is in my signature.

Would some of you mind posting some LINKS to breeze reviews?

Since the search engine isn't working I can't find them.

I need something to hold me over until I'm sailing away on her! Thanks!!
