Canopy Tour Adventure through Carnival

Hi there! I will be doing this tour in March and was hoping to get a little information on it from recent participants. It has great reviews but just wondering little details like cost of pictures they take of the ziplining adventure (I believe they sell a picture CD) and cost of refreshments and food if available. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks!:)

We have done 3 different zip lines on Jamaica

 

Canopy

Chuka

Rose Hall

 

Canopy was our first experience, and it was fun.

 

At the dock we boarded a small bus that took us to the top of a hill to the orientation area.

Pack light, they charge for lockers and also they do not permit cameras (no problem, cell phones worked just fine).

Got our helmets, harnasses and gloves.

Restroom facilities (clean, job a johnny, the non flushable ones).

Did practice getting gear on a line.

Boarded all-terain vehicle.

Rode another 10 min. higher up.

Got off and walked about 10 min. thru the woods, wear sturdy sneakers or walking shoes, do not wear sandels or flip flops, you will regret it.

 

First zip line kinda short, kinda neat, make sure you scream to scare those behind you.

 

OMG---

The rest I think there was 8-9 unbelievable.

Too much fun.

Yup recorded DD on our old I phone 4's, and took ton of pictures (see they came in for something).

 

At the end, the last run, they take your picture, and at base they try to sell it to you.

 

The sell canned soda, bottled water and candy bars, not over priced, after the last zip line as you wait for everyone.

 

It was definetely worth doing.
