Help, Need Beach Info on Caye Caulkner

Recommended Posts

We are planning a coralbreezes tour to Caye Caulkner and we are trying to decide whether to do our own snorkeling/swimming at the beach or book the snorkel excursion.

Has anyone stayed at the Caye Caulkner beach and snorkeled there? Can you give input to help us make our decision?

Thanks in advance!

As I indicated in my previous post, Unless we were at the wrong beach, I do not believe that there is snorkeling from the beach at Caye Caulker. I tried, but did not see any fish at all.

Thank you slineberry528 and del67!

It sounds like snorkeling from the beach at Caye Caulkner is a no-go.

Half of our group taking the coralbreezes excursion are scuba divers who will take the scuba option. Half are snorkelers and it sounds like they should not try to snorkel from the island beaches. Based on your info they will sign up for the snorkeling option.

Thanks again
