Tenders or pier?

Is there a pier in Roatan or are you tendered in? Line is Carnival if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Hopefully you are on one of the smaller ships, as the Conquest/Dream class ships have a tough time docking on windy days.

(Carnival carved out a VERY narrow channel when they created the Mahogany Bay pier)

The pier holds two ships.

Carnival has a pier - hold two ships as someone already mentioned. We've heard that sometimes the ships can't port depending on the weather, and this port is sometimes missed. It didn't happen to us in January - thank goodness! Roatan is gorgeous, and we were really looking forward to this stop, and had a great day there.

The Carnival port at Mahogany Bay has a lot of shops to browse too. Basically a lot of the same stores that are at any of the Carnival ports, but it gives you an option if you don't have time to go anywhere else after an excursion.
