AALCRUISER Posted February 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2014 For any of you that returned on Saturday 2/22/14 on the Caribbean Princess, or anyother crdates this year ,would you be able to tell me what the current rules you observed on carry on extra wine. I have been reading many reviews, and was wondering if they are allowing to be more than 1 750 mil per person on the ship and if you do will you be charged the $15.00 extra fee? I do not mind paying the extra fee, just wanted to know how Bayport is handling it. I have read everything in the contract, but have read many reports that you are allowed mor than one per person, and since that do not offer a wine package for days I was looking for any update. As I stated, I understand that I might be paying an extrea fee, I do not mind. Any helpful post would be appreciated and I am sure there are other cruisers on the 3/1/14 cruise on the Caribbean Princess asking the say thing. JF - retired RRT Posted February 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2014 I sailed in January (so not real recent). But there was a table set up on the other side of the X-ray scanners for the corkage fee. People were being directed there. Don't know if they "caught" everyone. Miaangel2000 Posted February 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I sailed on the 2/15 cruise. We only brought two bottles but they didn't seem to really be checking the scanners. We boarded early through priority so they may have been easier on that lane. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
