THANK YOU!!! We have that cabin in a few months. In this pictures, it looks like the balcony is private. Did you feel like people on the lanai below you could see you when sitting in a chair?

No the way it's angled you can't see them and they can't see you - unless you are at the rail.

There were times that we could hear people walking and talking as they passed by on the lanai. But the were usually just passing by - maybe stopping for a minute to watch the wake - but it was never an issue.

The only time there was ever a "group" below us was as we backed in docking in Nassau. People collected - and the group grew to be fairly large - as we docked but quickly disbursed once we were docked.

was reading a couple of reviews & they said after the horror stories they read about deck 6 they switched well I'm booked in 6356. Anyone been on this deck that can shed some light on deck 6? Thanks

I'm in cabin 6357 my PVP said noise should not be a factor.

We were in 6381/6383 (Connecting inside cabins) on deck 6, directly above the casino and never heard a thing at any time on the Carnival Magic (same class). Is there a bad room when you are cruising?

LOL... Bovine is a cow. Do you mean Bonamine? Thanks for making me smile. I hate Monday's. :D

Bahahaha! I didn't notice that! I think I have been autocorrected by Siri! It is Bonine. That is the brand of the box I pick up at Walmart. I love it. It is a chewable tablet that is non drowsy and lasts all day:)

Well, I don't know about the other people, but when I am on deck 5, I don't sit around staring up at the balconies above. When we were on Magic (same deck plan), it didn't seem like many people used the deck 5 hot tubs. They were all using the lido and serenity tubs. One thing to check is to see which side allows smoking on deck 5. I think it may be the side Red Frog Pub is on, but couldn't swear to it. If you are sensitive to cigar/cigarette smoke, that could be an issue. I never have an issue from anyone's smoking except in the casino or cigar bar - just too closed in.

I've been on the Breeze and the Dream, I liked the Breeze more.

That said, I would never book deck 6 or 7 and I hate the lenai (in carnival lingo, lanai=loss of privacy). I won't sail on ships with that anymore.

At least you're not on the smoking side of the ship but you still have an ocean/hot tub view. You'll also be upwind of the BBQ that you're almost over top of. Don't get me wrong, the BBQ is great and I booked in an aft-view cabin. Every time they started up the grills I was starving. Probably gained 10 pounds on BBQ sausage alone.

Even though I would not book where you are, I think you'll have a great time and you really have an excellent location. I'd prefer that location on Deck 8 but think you'll be happy.

While on Breeze a couple weeks ago, we were in one of the hot tubs on the lanai. This poor man stepped onto his balcony which directly overlooked the hot tub and asked if we could see inside his room. We thankfully could only see the lights. He said that it was really loud in the morning when they were filling the hot tub. He was also directly above the nightclub. He was a great sport but that room would be my nightmare

We felt that way about our suite - on the Dream 7370.

Great room but TOO close to the lanai. Not their fault but when anyone in the hot tub (most of the time) talked loud enough to hear each other over the pumps - we felt like they were in our cabin! [emoji37]

Ahhh....so glad to see someone post about being above the casino and no noise! After I found this post and read thru a few of them I pulled up deck plans to see where our rooms are! We are booked in connecting rooms 6310 and 6314 right above the casino so I was stressing about whether to change our rooms. My Daughter who will be 9 at the time of our cruise will be with us and she's a 10 hour kid lol! If she doesn't get close to a good 10 hours of sleep she's a mess haha!!

My wife and I were in cabin 6356 on the Dream and loved it. You walk out

your cabin door and walk 20' straight forward and you are on the mid ship elev. When you are on your balcony you look down at the lanai and you

have a hot tub to the right and a hot tub to the left. We thought we would hear a lot of noise but we never heard any. We would book that same

cabin again. Only next time it will be on the Breeze. They have all the 2.0

and the Dream does not. Don't worry you will not have any problems with

cabin 6356. It was a great cabin. HAPPY SAILING!!!

Almost all 2.0 - there is no Alchemy Bar on Breeze. I missed my Dealclosers that I had gotten from Alchemy on previous cruises. Breeze is a great ship, though - clean, well maintained. Love the ropes course, slides, Guy's Burgers, Red Frog Pub....

Oh No!! I just realized that we're on Deck 6 for our upcoming 6 Day/8 Day B2B on Breeze. We're in cabin 6499 on Deck 6 aft, right over the Limelight Lounge. Now, I'm not worried about the privacy issue since I'm sailing with my Mom so we won't be doing anything on our balcony that other people shouldn't (or wouldn't want to) see but I am now a little concerned about noise. I tend to stay up until everything closes at night/early morning anyway so it probably won't be a problem for me but quite often (if not always) Mom goes to bed before I do. Will there be any noise problems that might keep Mom awake (and me if I go to bed early a night or 2)? It's most likely too late to change cabins now since we sail on Part 1 of our B2B in 80 days (and we probably wouldn't anyway since we have the same cabin for both cruises) so I'd like to be prepared!! Oh, and the 1st Part of our B2B (the 6 Day) is a New Years cruise if that'll make a difference. No matter what, I'm SO excited for our 14 Day cruise on the Breeze, she's my all time favourite ship!! :D
