Flowers ordered pre cruise?? Anyone? Your thoughts?

I'm considering ordering some flowers to be delivered to my cabin for my up & coming cruise. I think they would add some great color and smell hopefully.

 

I'm specifically looking at the deluxe mixed flowers.

 

I like roses, but I think they are overrated sometimes lol..

 

Anyways, I was hoping to hear from someone who has ordered them or received them and what their experience was.

I have had the flowers before and they were nice. Lasted almost the whole cruise too.

We've pre-ordered flowers, wine and fruit basket, chocolate covered strawberries, and a chocolate cake.

 

The flowers were fresh and lovely.

 

The wine and fruit basket was something we got for my SIL with whom we were sharing a cabin. She was touched and she loves fresh fruit, which it was. Wine was decent.

 

Chocolate covered strawberries were delicious as was the chocolate cake.

 

I will order them all again on any of our upcoming cruises.

 

Every item, each ordered on different cruises, were always waiting for us when we entered our cabin on embarkation day. Never had a problem with anything. All the items were nicely presented with cloth napkins and real, not plastic utensils. In the case of the wine (we ordered white), it was being chilled in the ice bucket and wine glasses were provided for each of us. They were glass not plastic. Our room steward showed up and opened the wine bottle for us and poured us all a drink. We offered him a glass but he couldn't drink while on the job. He got a nice, extra tip right then and there.

I once had flowers for a 16 day cruise and they were great. They looked as good the final day of the cruise as they did the first. I hated to leave them behind. I cannot get flower arrangements to last that long at home.

I've had other bon voyage gifts before but I have never ordered flowers. I just thought they would be a nice addition to our cabin.

 

If anyone has any photos of their arrangements that would be great.
