Is Royal Caribbean leaving New Orleans after next spring? I see the Serenade is moving to Canadian cruises and dont see a replacement next fall?

I live an hour away on the Mississippi gulf and have been on the Serenade twice since its return to NO in December. I agree with you!

Serenade is leaving NOLA sometime in April, but will return in November 2014.

 

So no ship year-round, but she will be back! ;)

The OP probably refers to spring 2015 when the Sots leaves Nola ......

Scheduled to go out of New Orleans Dec 2014. Don't see New Orleans listed beyond Spring 2015. Hope they return. We take the train from Memphis to New Orleans. We will keep checking.

The flights from Chicago are soooo much cheaper to NOLA than to Florida... I can get 2 tickets for Nola for the price of 1 to Florida...

I'm disappointed that Royal Caribbean is leaving New Orleans too. If only we could bombard the higher-uppers with snail mail asking them to reconsider. This might make them realize that they do have a market in NOLA.

 

E-mail just wouldn't work because they can be easily deleted but having stacks upon stacks of paper dumped on their desk would make an impression.

 

Does anyone have an address? The higher the position of the person we are writing to the better?

I'm trying to get flights to NOLA from Grand Rapids, MI and the prices are sky high. I sure hope that they come down as it gets closer to cruise time.

I suspect the best way to have the Serenade to return would be to have this winter's sailings sell out.
