Jcarr10 Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Is Royal Caribbean leaving New Orleans after next spring? Jcarr10 Posted February 27, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I live an hour away on the Mississippi gulf and have been on the Serenade twice since its return to NO in December. I agree with you! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

zaknzoey Posted February 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Serenade is leaving NOLA sometime in April, but will return in November 2014. So no ship year-round, but she will be back! ;)

kittylikeswater Posted May 15, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Scheduled to go out of New Orleans Dec 2014. Don't see New Orleans listed beyond Spring 2015. Hope they return. We take the train from Memphis to New Orleans. We will keep checking.
angelhelly Posted May 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2014 I hope they return too.. The flights from Chicago are soooo much cheaper to NOLA than to Florida... I can get 2 tickets for Nola for the price of 1 to Florida...
lady_cruiser Posted May 15, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2014 I'm disappointed that Royal Caribbean is leaving New Orleans too. If only we could bombard the higher-uppers with snail mail asking them to reconsider. This might make them realize that they do have a market in NOLA. E-mail just wouldn't work because they can be easily deleted but having stacks upon stacks of paper dumped on their desk would make an impression. Does anyone have an address? The higher the position of the person we are writing to the better?

Kbrance07 Posted May 16, 2014 #15 Share Posted May 16, 2014 This is the email response I received from Adam Goldstein. Greg, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately Royal Caribbean International will not be operating from New Orleans in the 2015/16 winter season. Best regards, Adam Adam M. Creepella Posted May 16, 2014 #16 Share Posted May 16, 2014 I suspect the best way to have the Serenade to return would be to have this winter's sailings sell out.
