Shaken_Bake Posted June 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2004 We're arriving on a Tuesday, between 7:00 & 2:00 - Pier B I think. I'd love to make my last stop before reboarding is a store where we can get beer and wine - preferably good wine selection. Anybody see one? khemp Posted June 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2004 If you walk about 2-3 blocks down Duval Street, you will see a liquor/convenience store on your left. You can buy beer, alcohol, cigarettes, fruit, etc. That is the only one that I can remember of off of the top of my head, but like I said it is only about 2-3 blocks down
bambam Posted June 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2004 I think Khemp is right, about 2-3 blocks down Duval Street (from Mallory Square) on the left. but I throw this caution flag...many/most?? cruise lines confiscate booze brought from the shore (it cuts down on their profit margin) - make sure you can bring it back on board first... but I admit I don't know about the Enchantment... Thanks for the replies - it sounds like what I'm looking for... I think I'm going to try the direct approach, bambam; just walk right on with booze in my bags! Seems like many posters on these boards have not had any problems with Royal Caribbean confiscating booze. I would plan on drinking my wine with dinner and paying the outrageous corkage fee, so since that's permitted, I don't think I'll have any problem. Thanks for the warning though! (Note: somehow apostrophes didn't make the transition from the old boards, hence the weird title of my posting! I'm really not THAT bad a typist, even when I sober!!) Saintsfan007 Posted July 27, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2009 I just discovered that I will be in Key West on a Sunday. Are there any liquor stores open for business on Sunday there? Thanks for your help.
KAWS Posted August 9, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2009 Deleted - saw that the post I was responding to was back in 2004 -- hardly relevant now! :)
