Golden Nugget Chairman club perks

My wife has a black card (Chairman level) from the Golden Nugget casino in Atlantic City. She got a new card about 6 months ago and with it came a pamphlet spelling out the advantages of the Black card.

 

One of the listed advantages was a 15% discount on Carnival and Princess cruises.

 

Nobody at the Golden Nugget has been able to shed any light on this, such as how do you go about booking a cruise with the discount. Within the past week she has called carnival and had at least 3 conversations with different casino representatives and was able to get no information from Carnival. The last communication she got from Carnival was an email telling her that she had to get the information from the marketing dept. at the Golden Nugget casino.

 

Has anyone on this board even had a situation like this and if so how did you resolve it?

Never heard of Carnival casino's being tied to ANY land based casino rewards programs. NCL is tied to Caesar's Entertainment's Total Rewards but that is it... interesting.. You will have to ask Golden Nugget and find out. 15% is a good discount if you can get it (and were planning on taking the Carnival cruise anyway)
