Special events in May

We're taking the Victoria Clipper from Seattle for a stay May 1-5 in Victoria before our cruise. Any special events or festivals, large activities, etc going on then?

Or links to calendars for that time period.

What about in Vancouver May 5-8?

Vancouver Marathon is May 4 so you should be okay - don't know of anything on that week.

Have a look here - it covers events all over BC. Page 15, the one I've linked to, has events right at the beginning of May (click back a few for longer-term events that start earlier). You can also restrict to specific cities or regions as well as type of events to narrow it down.
