The Getaway reviews are amazing

24 reviews so far and 87% approval on Cruise Critic. The previous 2 NCL ships (Epic and Breakaway) never had such a honeymoon with critics.

 

Now who is excited? :)

The Epic had/has so many inherent problems and concerns.

 

But, maybe the Getaway is getting better reviews because it is sailing out of a region that is a bit less critical about many things? ;)

Plus the fact the a Getaway has been sailing less then capacity has improved the experience. Only 1080 on the transatlantic and last week 3200 guests. Same of less this week.

I trend to agree with this since I'm from the Northeast. There are alot of people who are like this and rude on top of it..... Too many nit-picking individuals.....

Times will tell, I would say the scores one year from now will be settled around the range.

Just off the Getaway this am and I can't think of a single thing to nitpick about! Wonderful ship. Never on the Breakaway, so can't compare, but we LOVED this ship. Buffet food was top notch. Was even impressed by the MDRs food quality. One of the best meals I've ever had in Cagneys.
