No kids, still cruise Disney?

I got to say it doesn't surprise me at all, (1) Disney is associated with young kids, films, videos, books snd parks, (2) other lines play on this and sell to their strengths of adult entertainment, Casinos, cigars, and booze, so many people think that 24/7 you get, it's a small world piped into your room on DCL until you go mad.

DH states its small world piped into your does not take 24/7 just 30 minutes and he goes mad. Good thing we will have the grand kids noise to drown out the sound. LOL

My husband and I have cruised on Disney with no kids. We are a couple in our early 30s. We really enjoyed it, and will be cruising the Fantasy again in January. A lot of my friends gave us crap about it, but really we had a fantastic time. The adult areas were pretty much clear of kids. We especially liked our DISmeet group mixology class. We actually met quite a few couples that were cruising without kids.

the great thing re no kids is that we can cruise in concierge....:D

I'll be at the bar if you need me!

We had a big family reunion on the Fantasy, and my sister and I (22 & 19) had an amazing time, even though we didn't hang out with the kids very often. So much so, that we're going again, by ourselves! Next year we'll be going on the Magic. We might be the only 23 & 20 year olds there with no kids, but we're definitely kids at heart! Tons of fantastic things to do for adults only.

I never once had any music piped into our cabin.

There is NO music piped into your cabin unless you turn it onto the TV to a music station.

When you first board the ship, the pubic announcements are piped into the cabin. This will continue till after the safety drill. Then there will be an announcement that NO more announcements other than REAL emergencies will be piped in, but you can get the announcements on V channel whatever. You can also hear the announcements in public areas.

There are several "zones" on the ship, each of which can have different music playing. You can't hear it in the staterooms at all.
