BND Posted March 3, 2014 #51 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It looks like a barge is up next to the ship. You can see the hatch open and people and something up next to the ship.
Esmerelda Posted March 3, 2014 #52 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I see cabin lights on but I do not see a barge up next to the ship. ( ? )
ButterBeanMcGee Posted March 3, 2014 #53 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It looks like a barge is up next to the ship. You can see the hatch open and people and something up next to the ship. I'm watching camera 2 on the port everglades webcam as we speak and I see no barge of any kind alongside the ship.
DanteDog Posted March 3, 2014 #54 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Yea... My wife saw the barge a little bit ago with the door open. Defiantly not normal. It looks like an aerobics class or emergency lights on the side as well, but that might be a reflection on the glass.

Eng23 Posted March 3, 2014 #57 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Marinetraffic info is indicating Allure's ETA into Nassau tomorrow being 11:00am. Just FYI.
BND Posted March 3, 2014 #58 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It's just a reflection you are seeing No, it's not. There's definitely something next to the ship and a couple of the hatches are open. I can see people too inside the hatches.
gsearles Posted March 3, 2014 #59 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I love watching the ships leave when it's dark and the ship is all lit up! First time looking at this webcam. View #2 of Allure looks amazing all lit up in the dark.

blazerjan Posted March 3, 2014 #61 Share Posted March 3, 2014 So we know forsure it's due to late flights? It's a bit of a coincedence this is happening right after dry/wet dock last week. And why is the Allure the only ship out of 7 holding back for late passengers? Wouldn't the other ships have been delayed too? My thoughts exactly.... when we were on the Emerald Princess in Nov/Dec, we departed an hour late due to weather related flight delays. Doesn't seem possible that only the Allure would be waiting. There were a couple other RCI ships in port today.
kdooley Posted March 3, 2014 #62 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Not sure if this will look right but here is a screenshot of the ship - Looks really cool!
DanteDog Posted March 3, 2014 #63 Share Posted March 3, 2014 The low side hatches look open, and I still don't see any cabin lights on.
c-legs Posted March 3, 2014 #64 Share Posted March 3, 2014 No, it's not. There's definitely something next to the ship and a couple of the hatches are open. I can see people too inside the hatches. I agree 100%. Those are, I beleive, the same ''hatches'' that would be used if tendering took place. There is something going on here.....mechanical nature... Pumbaamd Posted March 3, 2014 #65 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Wouldn't a barge have running lights?
CRUISEFAN0001 Posted March 3, 2014 #66 Share Posted March 3, 2014 My thoughts exactly.... when we were on the Emerald Princess in Nov/Dec, we departed an hour late due to weather related flight delays. Doesn't seem possible that only the Allure would be waiting. There were a couple other RCI ships in port today. It's not only possible...it IS the reason. There were over 390 passengers delayed with inbound flights this afternoon according to another website. If it was just a smaller group on one flight...she would likely have sailed...but not that many.
MisterMom Posted March 3, 2014 #67 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Just checked "Showtimes at a Glance" for Allure on RC.com - Ocean Aria not scheduled until 9:00. Dang. I was hoping to see some of it on the port webcams! LOL
readytolose Posted March 3, 2014 #68 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I wish someone that is on this cruise would come on and post what is actually going on. I'm sure the captain has kept them advised as to the situation. Seems kind of silly all the speculation going on when really we have no clue! I see lights on in the rooms. The boardwalk rooms looked pretty dark but then periodically a few of them will light up. I don't think there is a problem there.

chicy724 Posted March 3, 2014 #70 Share Posted March 3, 2014 The low side hatches look open, and I still don't see any cabin lights on. I may not know what I am looking at, but on Camera #1 it looks like a bunch of cabin lights are on.

If it was just a smaller group on one flight...she would likely have sailed...but not that many. If this is the case is that the "official" word. If I am correct in my understanding there are 6 ships out of that port today but the Allure is the only one still sat there. It would be a logical assumption if one had a large number of delayed passengers then so would the other 5 ships:confused:
MisterMom Posted March 3, 2014 #74 Share Posted March 3, 2014 should there be a support group for people who "stalk" cruise ships?
readytolose Posted March 3, 2014 #75 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Yep, Camera 1 definitely has the best view of the rooms lit up! Must be the angle of camera 2 that makes it seems as though they are all off!
