TavelRN Posted March 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I saw that the salad bar at Moderno offers cerviche. Does anyone know what type and if it was good?
Pitzel Posted March 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Depends on the ship. We had it on the Epic, but not on the Dawn. It is delicious, if it is available.
Odesitka70 Posted March 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Just had it a couple of days ago on Getaway and it was seafood. I saw that the salad bar at Moderno offers cerviche. Does anyone know what type and if it was good?

MBMGWM Posted March 3, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I saw that the salad bar at Moderno offers cerviche. Does anyone know what type and if it was good? My wife & I were on the Epic about a month ago and hit Moderno twice. Cerviche was available both times and was very good. Mix of shrimp, fish and scallops. rvsullivan Posted March 3, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It was decent enough. It wasn't a giant serving. On all of our cruises it was self serve on the buffet, so no limits on how much you took. It has been OK for what it is. A mix of seafood, fish, shrimp etc.
russianmom Posted March 3, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It was a mix of seafood on Gem last May. Ate at Modernos twice last week on Jewel, wasn't there either time.
skeeter195 Posted March 3, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 3, 2014 It was OK. It was cooked shrimp, scallops, conch, etc then marinated. Not a true ceviche where the acid from the citrus does the cooking. Tasty enough but don't expect a real ceviche.
LrgPizza Posted March 3, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 3, 2014 FYI - It's ceviche, not cerviche.
