rwr235 Posted March 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Wondering which cruise lines go to Alaska? Which months are better to cruise Alaska? Do you recommend one line over another for Alaska? Thanks, Hi, Almost easier to answer "what cruise lines don't sail to Alaska" ?:D But here are some that do: Celebrity, Carnival, HAL, NCL, Royal Carib, Princess, Lindblad, Un-Cruise, Regent, Disney, American Cruise Line, Silversea, Oceania... The Alaska season is rather short...mostly May-September. We did the first trip of the season on Celebrity (late May) and LOVED it ! Still lots of snow, but the weather was still great !...I think I put on a coat just once (when hiking on the glacier) and was even able to wear shorts most days. As stated in post above...do peruse the Alaska Board for lots of great advice, suggestions etc. Enjoy...Alaska is spectacular !! Krazy Kruizers Posted March 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Princess and HAL have been on the Alaskan business way longer than other cruise lines. We have sailed Alaska on Princess, HAL and NCL -- and all our cruises were great. We have found that the end of June through the first week of August has the best weather -- more calving of the glaciers. You may consider a cruise that does either Glacier Bay or Hubbard.
