stavy Posted March 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2014 Hi...We will be in Moorea on a cruise ship Easter Sunday. We were thinking of renting a car as we have never been to the Tahitian islands before. First question...where can we explore with a rental car? Are there areas that we would want to see that we can't get to with a rental car? What are your recomendations? We are doing a snorkel day in bora bora the next day...Help please....
Tikiintahiti Posted March 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Best things to do on Moorea Some places will not be open, ie; stores ............ however, most tour vendors will operate on Easter Sundays. Most car rentals will be available as well. Some of the 'tourists' places ......... like the juice factory might be closed and the vanilla place. As som any places will be closed I would encourage you to take a tour. Moorea is a great island to do a 4X4 or ATV tour. You probably will moor in Opunohu Bay with tendering to the marina in Papetoai. There is a round church there and the singing is beautiful in the native tongue, don't miss it ...... Can you tell me where on your map the round church is? Closest to what letter/number on the map. Thanks.
