Horse drawn carriage rides in Victoria

Will be in Victoria in Sept. on a cruise. I was interested in doing a carriage ride. Should I take the one from the ship tour for $50.00 per person, or is it cheaper to just wait till I get there.

 

Also does anyone know where I pick up a carriage ride.

They will be lined up at the dock awaiting passengers. I think you could get one for less than $50.

I don't remember what we paid but we reserved 2 in advance and when we got off the ship everyone was lined up to get one and we simply walked up to ours (which was slightly away from the others) and headed out. Totally worth doing it in advance.

Things may have changed but when I contacted them last season I was advised that they will pick you up at the cruise terminal but there was a surcharge for that service. You will find the rates on the links provided in a previous post....as to whether it is cheaper to book independently will depend on the number of people in your party. If you are by yourself, you may care to post this on your roll call and see if anyone wants to join you.
