My partner and I will be traveling on the Oceania Insignia (former Renaissance ship) on October 24, 2004. It will be our 12th cruise but our first to the Mediterranean. It is a ten day cruise and the ports include Athens, Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Valletta, Malta; Messina, Italy; Naples, Italy; Rome, Italy; Florence, Italy; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Provence, France and Barcelona, Spain.

Is anyone else taking this cruise? We would love to hear from other cruisers who have visited any of these ports. We’re so excited about visiting Europe.

Also, I’m looking for books and websites on the Mediterranean in general and more specifically the gay Mediterranean (tourism, historical, etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
