Carnival Magic, alternatives to Lido?

We're not really Lido people, we would prefer to hang out somewhere quieter, less crowded, to get some sun and just relax. Other than Serenity, can anyone recommend a good, quiet deck/area to hang out on during the day where we can lounge and get some sun? Also, is there a good place for sail away that is away from the crowds? We're not anit-social, but we are looking to spend some quiet, relaxing time together during our cruise. :)

The red frog pub has a nice area out side with glider swing and nice seats. The hot tubs along this area on deck 5 are good places as well. It is hard to beat serenity deck though for our quite time.

We are just like you, one reason we do the large L shaped balcony..What are referred to as the secret decks on the bow end are usually quiet...Can't remember which deck, too much tequilla, but on the side of the ship maybe deck 4 there are chairs and very quiet..

The Main Dining Room and the Red Frog Pub are alternatives to Lido. The Aft Pool is a quiet place.

When we were on the Magic the area by the Red Frog Pub was very crowded. We ourselves spent quite a bit of time out there as did many others. We were in a balcony room midship on deck 8 and the area on deck 5 on the sides of the ship have plenty of lounge chairs and was much quieter. There are a few hot tubs but you can get lounge chairs away from the hot tub and have a nice quiet, relaxing afternoon.

Deck 5 wraps all the away around the ship. There's several hot tubs. They even served lunch out there. We spent a lot of time on 5 during the day. It was less crowded than Lido and quieter.

Another vote for the aft pool area.

Beautiful view back there, and nowhere NEAR as crowded as Lido.:D:D

Aft has nice red umbrello and tables and chairs to relax in on the upper level. Nice at the back of the boat to look out over the seas.

Deck 5 is very quiet.
