sickofwork Posted March 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Hi I am new to this and have never been out of the US. I am sailing on the Glory this September. I was going through the Carnival website when I first started researching cruises and a link took me somewhere saying Visa's were needed to travel to Belize. I was assured by the carnival rep I booked with that I wouldn't need one for this trip and I haven't come across that link again. I am just looking for information from any US citizen that's taken this trip if I need one or not. Thank You :)
runner15km Posted March 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2014 No Visa is needed, when going ashore bring a photo ID and the ships Sign and Sail card which isalso your cabin key. Have fun !
overthehillcruiser Posted March 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2014 As many cruises as we have been on and I always leave our passports in the cabin safe. Then it occurs to me, what if we miss the ship by some chance, you cannot fly without one, so I think I am changing my tune about carrying them with me. As far as a visa, have never needed one other than when I flew to foreign countries..
sickofwork Posted March 10, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks for your help. I feel better now. I'm glad I won't be needing that I remember them being $80.00 each money better spent on excursions or the ship.
