Pre booking teppanyaki on the Spirit

Was just wondering why we can not pre book the teppanyaki restaurant on the Spirit? We have the option to pre book all the other restaurants on board. Do they not allow you to pre book the teppanyaki because of limited seating?

I have the same problem for my Star cruise. Teppanyaki is not listed as a restaurant to book in advance

 

I was able to book Teppanyaki in the past on other ships. It's our favorite dinner on the first night!

We just got off the Spirit and couldn't prebook Teppanyaki online either. We booked it on the ship for lunch on a sea day and tried to see how many Teppanyaki rooms they actually had. We only saw one. Even if there were two, that makes seating extremely limited. So that must be the reason they don't offer online reservations. On the dining availablity boards you see Teppanyaki listed every half hour, but they listed it in the Freestyle Daily as 6:30, 8:00 and 9:30. Each table holds ten people.

You are able to book it if you have a suite. If you have a suite, you can call the concierge desk and book with them.
