Independence of the Seas Stateroom 9706

It's an aft facing balcony. Has anyone ever stayed in this room? If so, what is it like? Is it smaller than a starboard or port balcony? Thanks :-)

The balcony would be much larger than a side facing balcony in the same category.

We just changed our cabin to 8712, directly below 9706 on Indy. I've seen pictures of the balcony and it seems much bigger, space for 3 chairs including a lounger with space to walk around as well. It seems like a dream and I've heard wonderful things.

 

It looks like 9706 is adjoining to the Royal Family Suite, as is 8712. Does anybody know where the adjoining door is and how it impacts the floor plan and furniture in the cabin?
