Cabin 6157 on Zaandam

Can anyone tell me if they have been in cabin 6157 on deck 6 on the Zaandam? Is it quiet? Good location? We have booked it for Alaska in August and friends have booked 6159, we are hoping to open a door to make it one big balcony...will that be possible?

yes, the partitions between the suites and all accommodations can be opened by the housekeeping department removing some screws and a bracket..it makes a very nice balcony area to share with your neighboring friend or family...we have done this a couple of times.....
