Kennedy Space Center. Recommend?

In June my fiance and I are taking a 4-night cruise and then spending a few extra days in Florida for our honeymoon.

 

We are considering going to Kennedy Space Center and doing the Astronaut Training Experience. Has anyone done this and would recommend it?

Did you know if your contact your Congressman's office you could possibly get free tickets to KSC?

 

Usually they have to be requested pretty far out and they only have a limited number, but it wouldn't hurt to check!

Yes.....its not as cool as it was in the 80s/90s (we were there with 2 Space Shuttles setup on launch pads....) but the history is great, plus its still in use. This Sunday at a bit after 4am est SpaceX will launch a Space Station resupply mission....
