For those of you who did the Southern Caribbean (Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao & Aruba run) what time did you arrive at the pier?

What time did boarding start for VIP & FTTF?

What time did disembarkation for those who put their luggage out begin?

I can't remember correct time of boarding in Miami but we left hotel on a 10:00 shuttle checked in and had to sit and wait for awhile.

The disembark process starts at about 7:00-:7:15 if I remember correctly. We placed luggage out at night and went to meet friends in MDR at 7:15 or 7:30 and they were already off the ship. Took shuttle to Fll and was at airport by 8:30 and couldn't check luggage in before 4 hours of flight.

left our hotel about 11:30am, got to port about 12 and we are VIP. We had no wait it was quick and fast. About 12:15 I was eating my first of about 15 Guy's Burgers for that week. We put our luggage out but we had a 2:30pm flight so we just hung back and waited on Lido to leave. So I am of no help with that one.

Boarding was sometime after 11.. I don't remember the exact time. They did not let the Diamond and Platinum board first. There were hundreds of people in the waiting room and they just took everyone all at once.. Sad..

Arrived at the pier about noon, on board about 20 minutes later ( VIP boarding ). Put luggage out the night before, did zone 1 debarkation, off ship by 8 am, in FLL by 0830. Enjoy the Breeze ...a beautiful ship !

FTTF - report

We were on this itinerary on March 1. We boarded at 11:10, we got to the port at 10:30-ish. We were the first FTTF the passengers to board.

It sounded like they were boarding Diamond and Platinum through Gates A & B, but only let FTTF passengers board through Gate A.

When it was time to go home, we were told to meet in the dining room at 7:15am. We left the ship about 7:40 am.

Thanks for all the responses. We are trying to figure out what time to arrange for car service to pick us up to take us to the pier. We also have to factor in the traffic nightmare that is expected due to the Ultra Music Festival.

They did board diamond and platinum first. As we were walking on the balcony overlooking the winding lines of the main checkin lounge we could see all the different zone cards. We were escorted in 1 line from the captains lounge.

Just got back from that cruise.

Grand Turk, around 7am

La Romana, DR, around 8:30am

Curacao, around 2pm

Aruba, around 7:30am

We didn't do the FTTF and aren't VIP yet. We arrived at the port waiting room around 11am. I did notice some folks voarding at that time. I'm assuming they were VIP or FTTF. We were allowed to board early...were on by 12 noon.

On debarkation, when you put your luggage out, you are assigned a zone, and you debark when your zone is called . Our zone was 21. Our flight out was late after noon. We went up and had a leisurely breakfast. Our zone was called around 10:30am. We debarked, claimed our luggage, went through customs, transferred to the airport, and got through airport security before 12 noon....which I thought was pretty quick.

Use Carnival's transport....not too expensive and well worth the money.

I was in the Captains lounge and a gentleman came in and said, " ok, time to go!" and everyone went at once.. FTTF, diamonds and platinums.. If there was a seperate line for each I sure didn't see it or hear anything about it.. It wasn't a huge deal but I was expecting him to call us before the FTTF group.. It's all good..
