Which port in Puerto Rico?

Ships whose voyages originate in San Juan (like the Summit) use the Pan American pier. This is about a 10 min taxi ride from Old San Juan, 15 min from the airport. Ships visiting San Juan usually use Pier 3, adjacent to Old San Juan.

That is certainly true for RC and Celebrity ships but not for all.

OP, the Pan Am pier is smack in the middle of nowhere. The building does have a small liquor store to buy wine .

Does anyone know the name of the port that Summit sails from? It is my understanding that there is more than one port there.

The Pan American Pier is across the harbor from Old San Juan. All Celebrity ships embark from here.

You can see the Pan Am Pier location in relation to Old San Juan on the map at this link.
