Is this possible? How hard would it be do do this? And if it is possible, how long would the process of dropping off, parking, and then meeting up with the family take?

Lastly, when you enter the pier area is there a seperate lane for drop offs... As opposed to a lane for parking?

This is for the carnival imagination. Thanks in advance.

Very easy to do. Just after getting your parking ticket (it's before the structure) follow the signs for Passenger drop off. Then you'll swing around to park. The longest part of this process is finding a place to park, especially if all three ships are sailing out of Long Beach.

Your party can wait for you there or across the way in front of the Dome. If you are priority you check in at the little building.

We sailed on the Inspiration a few weeks ago. The whole process took no more than 30 minutes, drop off to cabin door. We arrived around 1pm.

Long Beach charges $17/24hours. If you go over 24 hours (arrive at 9 but leave at 10) you will be charged that extra hour.

After you pay keep your (green?) receipt out. You will need to put in into the ticket machine leaving the complex.

$17 for any 24 hour period. They will charge you by the hour if below $17 for the day.

If you arrive at 9 for embark but do not exit until 10:30 at debark you will be charged for the full days and the extra 1.5 hours.

From Google Maps- street view (great travel tool for this sort of thing): https://www.google.com/maps/@33.748105,-118.1887722,347a,35y,39.4t/data=!3m1!1e3

The parking structure is on the left. The drop-off area is just around the corner from the mural on the side of the parking structure, in the area with the "random" looking roofs. Drop people and luggage there, then circle almost all the way around the parking structure and enter under the mural.
