Due to work commitments it appears we may not be able to travel on our Carnival Spirit cruise in August. We are inside the cancellation timeframe and therefore, would forfeit our deposit. However, as it is still 120+ days to departure, we are able to make one change, at no cost to another Carnival cruise. My question is does this only mean Carnival ships eg Spirit or Legend or could it potentially transfer to a cruise line under the Carnival umbrella? Eg Princess? Thanks in advance. It maybe available on their website. At as guess I would say it would mean to another carnival ship. As carnival and princess operate as different entities. Einreb61 Posted March 18, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted March 18, 2014 Thanks. I spoke to them today. We have 14 days left to make one change to our booking and it can only be on Spirit or Legend. They couldn't tell me Legend sailing dates past March 2015, so looks like we will have to travel on Spirit, which will be fine. Better than losing our deposit.
