NCL Epic gym locker room?

I've read some old treads about the gym, spa etc. on the Epic and I get a bit confused.

 

Maybe someone who is just off the Epic and/or is familiar with the Gym locker room could answer my question?

 

- Is there a locker room which is to use without paying for a spa pass before or after going to the gym?

- If there is one: what are the amenities: is there a shower, towels, soap, sauna and/or a steam room?

 

I don't care for a spa experience with all the bells and whistles but would like to take a shower and simple steam or sauna before returning to my room.

 

Thank you for helping me out on my decision whether to book the Epic or not :p.

Yes, there is a locker room with toilets and showers. If I recall correctly, there might also be a steam room in the Men's locker room...but I could be remembering the spa locker room. But yes, for sure there is a locker room there.

Only toilets, showers, and lockers. For a steam room or sauna, you will need to pay for the thermal suite. The Epic has the best thermal suite, IMO, even compared to Breakaway-class ships, since Epic has a beautiful aft outdoor area with loungers.
