Freedom of the Seas - Just Off

Recommended Posts

Also, is there a deck similar to deck 4 on Voyager class, where you can walk around the entire ship on the outside? I was looking at deck plans, and it looks like on Freedom class, that would be deck 5? Am I right?

Deck 4 on Freedom class too. Freedom is just a stretched Voyager class.

Great, thank you!

My husband and I would always take a walk around the ship after breakfast when we would sail on Mariner. It's a cruise ritual for us! Missed that so much on Carnival Dream. Even though you can walk around most of the outside of that ship, it wasn't the same!

I am not a picky eater - so I am not sure I am the best judge~ but I thought it was pretty good. I would not call any food at the MDR as the best ever, but If I recall -

I thought the tomato/mozzarella, the Duck, the pasta, roasted turkey was pretty good.

I asked our head waiter for vanilla crème brullee a couple of the nights + the chocolate warm cake was the best desert.

Also - if you like burgers Johnny Rockets = wow!

The steak (Chops + 14.95 was just OK) and so was the lobster (the shrimp with the lobster much better).

You're both correct. The bulk of the promenade is deck 4 but the bow section is on 5, you go up a flight of stairs to get there. This is also how you get to the helipad/obs deck.

There's also doors from pharaoh's palace out to deck 5 promenade, you can go this way to helipad if you don't want to take promenade stairs from 4.

It's a great walk, all the way around and the "catwalk" past MDR is cool.
