Luggage check in post cruise

Recommended Posts

I have heard that there is a system available where your luggage can be checked in to your flight/airport from the cruise/port terminal.

Does anyone know anything about this and if so is it available for international flights?

Thanks in advance for your help.

From the Royal site:

Luggage Valet is a service offered on board which enables guests to bypass traditional airport check-ins. Guest who participate will be processed onboard the ship and receive their airline boarding passes, luggage tags as well as baggage claim checks for their checked-in luggage.

This service is available in these selected ports:

Fort Lauderdale

Port Canaveral

Miami

Seattle

Seward

and on these selected airlines:

Air Tran

Alaska Airlines

American

Delta

United

US Airways

Jet Blue

Southwest Airlines

Participating airlines vary by port. Consult the Guest Relations Desk onboard for specific port qualifications and additional information. An additional fee will apply.

Good Luck

We have used it from FLL on American with great results. (Oasis & Allure) We put our bags outside the last night and didn't see 'em again until we picked 'em up at our destination airport. :)

I believe that it's only available to US and Canadian residents (maybe citizens). Only certain airlines participate in the program, which is called Luggage Valet.

On our Freedom code last week, it was expanded to'

"international' flights, whatever that means.

If it's been expanded to include International flights...that is very new to RCI's Luggage Valet program.

I never said they did :confused:

You said they now have it for International. Canada is not Domestic. Do you know what ports/countries they do have it for.

Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

This is all there in on Royal's website:

Talk with Guest Services after you board, They can give you more specific info.

If you are asking which debarkation ports the Luggage Valet Program is available at, then the answer would be:

Fort Lauderdale

Port Canaveral

Miami

Seattle

Seward

These are all US Ports

I noticed that you are from England. I am not sure if it available for foreign final destinations, especially with TSA rules and procedures.
