erinmarie424 Posted March 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2014 I will be on the Carnival Victory, in Key West on April 25. Do all Carnival ships dock at Outer Mole? Or is there a possibility we will dock elsewhere and if so is there an online source I can use to find out? Thanks!
Aquahound Posted March 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2014 You're in luck. You will be at Pier B, which is the Westin Resort. Here is a link to the cruise ship schedule. http://www.calendarwiz.com/calendars/calendar.php?crd=caribenautical&op=cal&month=4&year=2014&PHPSESSID=5e837eec75980c682785ff1424937e5d

cruzn buckeye Posted March 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2014 What is near the Westin Resort that someone who is not on a tour can do?
keywester33 Posted March 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2014 The Weston is right downtown and a short walk to most anything of interest. What do you want to do? Eat, drink, museums, shops, bike rentals, trolley rides, sightsee? Everything is nearby.
vwrestler171 Posted March 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) How far is the Southernmost Point from Pier B? Is it easily walkable? Edited March 23, 2014 by vwrestler171
bhopal21 Posted March 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2014 How far is the Southernmost Point from Pier B? Is it easily walkable? About a mile and a quarter of straight, flat sidewalk easily done in 15-20 min. Mike:)
J123Olen Posted March 23, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2014 We walked all over last May on our stop. It was a VERY hot and humid day in early May. Did the Hemmingway House tour, then to Southern most point. It was a pretty long day with the heat. We stopped at a few spots for "Libation" and "rehydration" on the way back. LOL... one tip: make sure to use restroom before heading back to ship. We were on the Carnival Freedom, and they only had one portal open for re-entry. Everyone has to go thru ship security and scanning.... It was a LONG SLOW line. The beers consumed at Sloppy Joe #%^&* well... enuf said.

bhopal21 Posted March 23, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 23, 2014 When you leave the Westin Hotel property walk straight down Whitehead St to the Southernmost Point. Have a great visit. Mike:)
cruzn buckeye Posted March 24, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I did the walk to the Southernmost point... once... and quite frankly, nothing really exciting about it except as a photo op. And it was so dang hot! Come to think of it... it was also an early May cruise. Not really sure what I will be doing as I am going on my first solo. Actually thinking i will be too bored there and may end up staying on the ship.

bhopal21 Posted March 24, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Where is Pier N ? They may be referring to the Navy pier which is commonly known as the Outer Mole. Key West piers are: Pier A--Mallory Square Pier B--Westin Hotel pier ***** Pier--pier located at the Outer Mole which is behind US Navy property and passengers are transported (not allowed to walk) to Front Street in the same area as the other two piers.
