mgarcia10 Posted March 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hi everyone, I've read enough to know the further north we go the less chance of we'll have of exposing the kids to full nudity. We know toplessness is everywhere and it's not that big of a deal. I also know that at the very far north end the ocean can be a bit rough for the kids though. So I was thinking we'd set down around the Bikini, La Playa, Waikiki areas? Is this a good choice? Any particular one you think would be good for us? We are a large group of 5 families. We are 19 people total. The kids range in age from 5-14. The older kids definitely want to do some water sports. The adults want comfort, umbrella/lounge/drink packages, and easy to access drinks and food. I'd love some recommendations. We'll be there next Wednesday off the Oasis. Thanks!!! :)
runner15km Posted March 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Kakao Beach Club is my favorite spot on Orient. I believe you and your family will enjoy this beach club.It is midway on the beach and I was there 11 months ago and saw no nudity just a few ladies who walked by topless. http://www.sxm-orientbeach.com/kakao/home.html
nyctravelerwithkids Posted March 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2014 I didn't like Waikiki area. The beach was very narrow and the surf was very rough. Next time we'll go to Kakao beach.

Thanks!!! :) You should check out Le Galleon beach. Close to Orient but not a nude beach. Great for kids. Reef off shore makes for gentle surf. Lots of nice shallows for kids. Facilities for adults, food, drinks, water toys. Last time I was there, great little floating platform in shoulder deep water that we took our drinks out to and sat on and watched the world go by. It was great. Edited March 29, 2014 by philv
