I went to the Pier 21 in Halifax where the ship docked and most passengers I talked to did put on a smiling face.It is safer than riding the storm unsafe. Yourcab drove some people within the downtown core free and life goes on. Also today in Halifax was cloudy, foggy and the weather could not make up its mind weather to rain or snow .ha! but life goes on.

Saw the passengers debarking on the local news here in New York and they were not a happy group. The ship was only scheduled to be in Bermuda for 36 hours and had they gone there, they would have had nothing but rain even though the storm veered away from Bermuda and never reached hurricane strength. All the local newscasters kept saying that the passengers were upset because their "Caribbean" cruise was diverted to Canada. Somebody should tell them that Bermuda is nowhere near the Caribbean.
