downsmead Posted March 27, 2014 #26 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Well, thanks for the prompt replies. Sounds good. Another couple of questions. Thinking of the aft cabins on deck 11 on Eclipse. Does the overhang from deck 14 keep the sun off the balconies? Also do Acqua Class cabins have any free or particular access to the spa? What about the Relaxation Lounge in the bows of deck 11? We did a Caribbean cruise on the Eclipse and loved the ship and Blu especially. The aqua A2 cabins are better if you like a sunny balcony as they do not have an overhang but as the pool is above, it is advisable to pick your cabin carefully and check what is above you. We were in a forward cabin close to the Persian Garden and Relaxation lounge (free access for Aqua class) but didn't really get much use of them. I prefer to be out in the sun and the trip was fairly port intensive. Using Blu, we did not feel the need to eat in any of the speciality resturants. Beware Aqua class can spoil you, we have an upcoming trip on the Infinity and have booked Aqua class again :).
Phxazzcruisers Posted March 27, 2014 #27 Share Posted March 27, 2014 It really depends on the age make-up of the guests, older usually eat earlier, and the geography of the guests, Europeans usually eat later than Americans. These are generalities, but may give you an indication. and yes, dinner goes to 9:30 not 7:

Yes Blu does spoil you. And yes, check your location in comparison to what's above you. On Infinity were were almost as close as you can get to mid ship, and no problem with noise from above. It was convenient to both spa/work out and Blu dining room, obviously different decks and end of the ship. As said b 4, we around six, had casual dinner, never felt rushed - like second seating was coming in. Again, if it wasn't on menu, but on ship, they got it for you with a no problem can do attitude -- Nice Smooth sailing B:)b - So CA PS Anybody considering Aust/NZ in 2015?
