Hi is there anything near the port in Corfu we will be there about 1 so would like to go for a walk in afternoon if there's anywhere close don't really want to catch a bus but would like a nice walk

You can walk quite easily into Corfu Old Town. Takes about 20-30 mins if I remember correctly. Just walk out of the port gates, turn left and then follow the road. Edited March 23, 2014 by Sailaway487

Get the Port Bus into Corfu town for about €1 & have a wander around there - it's quite a busy, uninteresting road to walk along & it would be a shame to miss seeing the town itself; there's lots of alleyways & open areas to explore.

You could take the shuttle bus to the town and have a wander around, it is a pleasant place. I continued to the promenade, turned left and strolled back to the ship via the headland. about a 45 min walk.

Yes do as Dave suggests can't miss Corfu Town it's so nice and lovely to stroll around and stop for a coffee or beer :-)

I would agree to walk along the sea wall to the town, much better away from the traffic. You can then always get the bus back if you want.
