pharmdawg Posted March 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2014 in April of 2015. We have been on Royal Caribbean 5 times. We enjoy Royal but interested in something new. We have been on Navigator twice, Freedom twice and Grandeur once. Very loosely, it seems Connie is very similar to Grandeur. Is this a good assumption? We have no need for flowrider, climbing wall, etc. We like to get on upper deck and get a drink and relax. Port days, we look for a beach to do the same. Thanks for your input. Constellation is closer to the Jewel of the Seas class on Royal. It is nearly the same size, Jewel has a few more staterooms. But of the 3 Royal ships you've been on the Grandeur would be closest, yes. Connie is a great ship and since her extensive drydock last year is in great condition. If you like an upper deck I highly recommend the brand new Aqua rooms on deck 11. They are very private, we loved the open balconies and have very easy access to the Sunset bar which is our favorite lounge on that class of ship. Have a wonderful time!!:)
