NewtoCruisewKids Posted March 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Does anyone know if the blackjack payouts are 3-2 or 6-5? Is it different between the 5 and 25 dollar tables? Thank you!
BV8818 Posted March 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I was on Valor in October, bj was 3:2 payouts for all tables. I am mostly a $5 table player and always 3:2 payout.

Rare Honolulu Blue Posted March 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I was on the Valor last week. All blackjacks on the tables and the Blackjack Pro machines pay 3:2. The ones on the Game Maker video machines pay even money, so avoid those unless you really need a $1 minimum. The BJ Pro machines had $3 minimums on Monday and Tuesday, $5 the rest of the time. Most of the BJ tables had $6 minimums, not $5. You can bet $5 on the main bet and $1 on the side bet. There was, I think, one $25 minimum table. Same rules, as far as I know. There was one double exposure game that had a $3 minimum.
NewtoCruisewKids Posted April 1, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Thank you for the feedback. Do you know if they offer "Surrender" on the blackjack tables?
Rare Honolulu Blue Posted April 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Thank you for the feedback. Do you know if they offer "Surrender" on the blackjack tables? Carnival's version of Spanish 21 has surrender, the other versions do not.
sailor_jimc Posted April 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2014 They do have single deck blackjack and sometimes "Face up 21" where it is NOT 3-2... but like the other have said.. the standard "blackjack" table are all 3-2. And if you feel like you are being ripped off at 6-5, it's because you are.

They have watered the game down so much in the 25 years I have been playing it is disgusting. We all need to say enough is enough.
Spurs Fans Posted April 4, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Sailor Jim is correct! At 6:5, you are getting ripped off. I never sit at a 6:5 table and will let the pit boss know. Unfortunately, most people don't know the difference.
