Anyone ever stayed here?? Looking for the good /bad and ugly! Looks spacious for our group of 6. Does not review great but we can put deal with it as we will be out and about most of the day. LMT travel has it priced comparable to other hotels so we might as well look into it.

We will have a rental car so the fact its not in the thick of things is fine. I'm hoping parking is free. Looks like a nice full kitchen so we can make ourselves an easy breakfast.

Never stayed, but meh to the Palm Aire area. It used to be a pristine location decades ago, but now its just very outdated and very close to an uncomfortable area in Pompano. You do have a casino rather close if that interests you plus a Super Wal-Mart.

You are looking for a condo/villa . . . 2 bedrooms with a living area to gather. Those places are harder to find down here. We did this in Orlando and it was great. 3 families in total (all of us family but we have our own families) 11 of us and it was perfect with a great living area and 3 bedroom areas to sleep along with a huge balcony. The 3 older kids used the living area and 2 sofa beds to sleep at night and the adults/young children stayed in the bedrooms.

You can always try Craigslist or FlipKey for these type of accomdations as you probably need to seek out a short term vacation rental and do it through the owner. It can be intimidating at first but it usually works the same way and there are reviews to help you out. Other than that, the few minimal "name brand" hotels that may have this option for you will be pretty expensive down here.

But you really should consider doing one of the "Suite" hotels. It's really not as bad as it seems, even with people that are not family. It's only one night, you guys will probably be up chatting most of the night anyways and the night will turn morning before you know it. 1 bathroom is plrenty fine. Sleep Inn in Dania runs like $105 a night and can fit all 6 of you.

Thanks for the feed back. We are looking for something to share. I mean having two rooms would be fine but as the younger ones go to bed it does not leave us room to hang out. I really like the idea of at least one of us having a living area. I did look into vacations rental through a company a friend uses often and I had issues finding something for 2 nights and w.o charging a ton on cleaning fees and every other fee. I was not willing to put down 1000 for 2 nights. My cruise is not even that much. I have looked at a couple Suite Hotels and they seem to be priced about the same as this one BUT not nearly as large. Im not so worried about location as we will be out and about most of the day. I will keep looking as Im just so lost on what to do.

we just stayed there this january for 3 nights before our cruise out of port everglades, we just had a studio as that is all that was left when we booked, the room was very spacious and very nice, but the resort was not as big as I thought it was going to be but we were not there much except for sleeping, was great that when you went out the back of the resort you could walk across the street to a grocery store, would do it again.

Thanks Coca-Cola.... any tips I should know? Was parking free? We will have a rental. What did they have at the resort to do? Im thinking we will be out and about but maybe not? We have nothing planned other than wanting to do a glade tour.

yes parking was free, we had a hard time finding the place, gps took us to the back and it was like midnight, use map not a gps, it was cool when we were there so we really didn't get to enjoy the resort, i think they had evening entertainment, pools, mini golf. We did the river cruise in fort lauderdale, awesome, was only 20.00 per person and got to see 30 million dollar homes, they did a good job narrating, super nice cheap tour, very relaxing and was beautiful weather that day.

Thanks... we booked today. We will prob use it more as a hotel vs a resort. But it will be nice to be all together and be able to spread out some.
