bobsfamily Posted March 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2014 The best pro for me is it's 15 minutes from home! kybluecruiser Posted March 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2014 She is my favorite no cons for the ship herself for me. It is less vegasy then other fantasy class ships. The cruise terminal itself can be a pain. You have to be transported by bus to the terminal. Once inside check in is a breeze. Though i am sad that Risa will no longer be the cruise director on the fantasy.

Seago2 Posted March 24, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I read a lot of happy, easygoing reviews from people who seem to like to have fun and not let the little things get them down. And the price is unbeatable. So I booked a B2B! I have always wanted to sail on her before she eventually is sold and I loved Elation. So- can't wait! OCruisers Posted March 25, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Our Pro on Carnival Fantasy when a 7 Day itinerary is offered ... it's out of Charleston which is a very convenient port for us . Cons, yes, we have quite a few ... but it's our decision to put up with them for the convenience of Charleston sometimes. LuLu ~~~
maldenmusic Posted March 25, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Fantasy was my first cruise ship and for that reason will always be special to me. I did like the size of the ship.
iSpark Posted March 25, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Fantasy was also my first cruise! I really enjoyed my first time experience. The food to me was, pretty good, but I'm not a "foodie". We sailed on her back in 2012, and have another cruise on her next month. :D
bryanjaync Posted March 25, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 25, 2014 We have sailed on Celebrity, NCL, Holland, Azamara, and Royal....and seriously, thought the food on the Fantasy was the best. (and yes, it surprised us too). Also, we took my 83/86 year old parents on the Fantasy. Perfect size ship for them vs. the mega-ships were walking is endless. bobsfamily Posted March 26, 2014 #16 Share Posted March 26, 2014 Did you find there was a lot of movement? Not really. We were on her last year and the weather was bad, high waves and smooth sailing... Will be on her in 41 days!
