She is my favorite no cons for the ship herself for me. It is less vegasy then other fantasy class ships. The cruise terminal itself can be a pain. You have to be transported by bus to the terminal. Once inside check in is a breeze. Though i am sad that Risa will no longer be the cruise director on the fantasy.

I read a lot of happy, easygoing reviews from people who seem to like to have fun and not let the little things get them down. And the price is unbeatable. So I booked a B2B! I have always wanted to sail on her before she eventually is sold and I loved Elation. So- can't wait!

Our Pro on Carnival Fantasy when a 7 Day itinerary is offered ... it's out of Charleston which is a very convenient port for us .

Cons, yes, we have quite a few ... but it's our decision to put up with them for the convenience of Charleston sometimes.

Fantasy was also my first cruise! I really enjoyed my first time experience.

The food to me was, pretty good, but I'm not a "foodie". We sailed on her back in 2012, and have another cruise on her next month. :D

We have sailed on Celebrity, NCL, Holland, Azamara, and Royal....and seriously, thought the food on the Fantasy was the best. (and yes, it surprised us too).

Also, we took my 83/86 year old parents on the Fantasy. Perfect size ship for them vs. the mega-ships were walking is endless.
