Okay not about room configuration ;) but balconies. I just booked room 16001 but the width of 15001 balcony is clearly larger. I know 16001 is longer but I was wondering by how much and is it a usable length ? It's our first time with this line so I want to make sure I have all my questions answered :D

Your balcony will look something like this, the room is longer and mostly usable, it's the balcony that is the minor drawback

Thanks for this picture :( now I am thinking of switching quickly. It looks like it would be claustrophobic, like your in a tunnel. Althogh I like the no direct sun, but I can't imagine the DH would want to keep it unless they can swap out the chairs for a lounger (I did read that somewhere but not sure if this line does it).

I was in 16003 on Splendida and was very disappointed when I saw the balcony. I had to stand on tiptoe at the rail to see out over the hull. I felt very walled in and never used the balcony as a result. I'd much prefer to be able to stand (or sit) on the balcony and enjoy the view. The only saving grace was the fact that the Top Sail lounge has a magnificent vista!
