EatPrayCruise Posted March 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Looking for the wonderful muesli recipe on the breakfast buffet. Can anybody help? Thank you in advance :) Sorry that I can't help with the recipe either, but boy do I love it! I look forward to it every morning onbaord. I sprinkle it over oatmeal. I know ... boring! But, I can't eat big every morning as my body is not used to all of that food!
jsiegel Posted March 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2014 This may not be exactly what Princess serves but I got this recipe after having museli for the first time on a cruise. I make it every so often, hmm, maybe time for another batch: 2 cups yogurt 2 cups oats 1 cup milk 3 to 4 teaspoons sugar or honey juice of 1/2 lemon stir above together and then add 2 chopped apples 1 orange peeled and chopped leave overnight in refrigerator add raisins and nuts before serving. Serves 4 Jackie

Maedy Posted March 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 25, 2014 The original Birchermüesli in 1900 was: 1 tablespoon oats 3 tablespoon water 1 tablespoon juice of lemon 1 tablespoon evaporeted milk 2 apples (ca. 400 gr.) 1 tablespoon hazelnuts or almonds mix oats and water together and leave it for 12 hours. Afterwards you put all other things in it.
