Red Star Line

I collect paintings of old travel posters , have a beautiful one of "Grace Line" and just bought another one of "Red Star Line". Anybody have any info on Red Star Line?

Red Star Line was a Belgian-based, American-owned company which operated primarily on the Antwerpen-New York service between 1871 and 1935.

What an excellent website! I loved the pictures and the story. Part of the beauty of looking at old ships, etc. is trying to "imagine" the people aboard the ship, their stories, etc. I love collecting the old travel posters that looked like paintings from the old sihps, etc. Thanks again..Menina
