Blu Reservations and Spa question

Sorry to ask, I can never get thru to the Celebrity phone line.

I have an aqua suite which allows us to eat at Blu each night. Do I need to make reservations ahead of time?

I am going on the ta cruise and am thinking the spa lounges are going to be full, do I need to make reservations ahead of time for a lounge?

Any tips, for making reservations in Blu, the best time, table for dinner and breakfast that is less crowded?

Blu doesn't do reservations but you can sort of get into a routine with the maitre'd. Less crowded times are probably when they open.

We were able to walk right in to Blu on Reflection earlier this month without any waits. I think the "busy time" varies depending on show times and whether it's a sea day or port day. We dined as early as 6, as late as 8:30 and various times in between. Sorry, I can't tell you about breakfast as we preferred our balcony for that.

As stated above Blu does not take reservations. We eat early and are usually there when they open. We do this because we find wait staff that we like and prefer to keep eating at their stations. The busy times usually depend on the crowd. Europeans tend to eat later than older Americans, in general. Never had a problem with breakfast. There has never been a wait, unless you wanted a specific server

As for lounges, you cannot reserve a regular lounge, but you can reserve the Alcoves. They are, however a little pricy. Enjoy your cruise

The only time we made a "reservation" in Blu was when we wanted to have dinner with a large group of other AQ passengers. We just went to the Maitre 'D and he suggested we arrive at 8:00. On one TA, Blu was filled by 6:00 every night so we waited until 7:30 to go. On others, we went whenever we wanted. It just depends on the passenger mix.

I assume you're asking about the loungers in Persian Gardens. It's hard to predict but it can be busy sometimes. They also don't take reservations. I found that early morning and late afternoon were good times to go. When you're doing the crossing portion of the TA, people get into a routine that becomes pretty predictable.

Don't try to get an answer to these questions from customer service at Celebrity. If you talk to three people, you'll get three answers.
