Is there a way to "hide" posts that I don't want to see in a thread. Example;

I'm reading a review and I just want to read the reviewer's posts.

No,unless you block everyone that replies lol

 

You can click on the number of posts and that sorts the thread by those who have posted. Click on the person's name given the review and it will show all their posts only in the thread but it looks a bit weird.

Well, kind of: you can click on the original poster's name . . . That will allow you to pop up all that person's posts. Likely someone who posted a review will have all his or her posts pretty much in a row. You might have to bypass a few non-related posts, but it would allow you to skip over simple "great review!" Posts.

The easy way is to just quickly scroll by any posts that are not by the OP doing the review.
