Any fun folks going on this short cruise with us? Two 30-ish friends on a break from hectic lives. Would love sail away cocktails with family.

I would love to go on this cruise. Got a great offer for it, but unfortunately after 2 cruises in May, my travel budget has been shot for a while. Have fun though, it looks like a great trip.

We are leaving on Celebrity's Mercury to Alaska on May 17 and I noticed that we are going to be in one of the ports the same day you are. I would have to go back and look to see for sure which one it is but keep a look out for us.

I really wanted to do another Celebrity, but the length and start dates just didnt work for me. I love Celebrity!

Saw the Mercury in Juneau. Was actually heading back to my ship from Mendenhall when you guys were just getting off. Thought about hanging around to look for you, but way too many people around. Hope you had a good time. The weather was excellent, wasnt it?

The weather was absolutely fantastic in Juneau and also when we were in Victoria. Hoonah was also nice but it was a little rainy in Sitka and Ketchikan. All in all, the weather was better than we expected and we sure didn't need all the heavy clothes that we took along. Our cruise was so good we booked about the same one for next year in September.

True Tad...I didn't hit the C/C Board looking for a companion...but tried about 5 or 6 of my friends. Either airfare or time-away from work was an issue!

 

If only Cruise Critic allowed for personal ads: "Top seeks bottom-freak travel companion, prefer dark looks, ISO same age, interests...." (lol)
